The Sabre-Tooth (Smilodon populator) is one of three species of Sabre-tooth this species being the largest of the three at 220 to 436 kg (485 to 961 lb) in weight and 120 cm (47 in) in height. Sabre-tooth species were members of the abundant Pleistocene megafauna, large mammals that lived during the Pleistocene epoch.
